Description

Domaine Joly-De Lotbinière consists of a picturesque manor house and nine annexes surrounded by beautiful historic gardens. The restoration of the buildings required great sensitivity, a detailed analysis of rare historical documents, and a deep understanding of how the buildings had changed over time.  Preserving the classified historic site’s integrity was a key concern. The last stage of the multi-phase project involved restoring the interiors, transforming the domestics’ house into a visitor center, and building a modern entrance gate.
