Description

The Terre-des-Jeunes Park Multifunctional Complex project aims to expand sports facilities in this area of Victoriaville by complementing the park’s existing infrastructure. In particular, it will serve as a sports venue for the 2028 Quebec Games.

The project includes a large covered court featuring a wooden structure that houses an NHL-sized ice rink in the winter and pickleball and basketball courts in the summer. The project also includes a service pavilion, a public plaza with water features, and a public skating area.

The covered area’s angled structure integrates it into its surroundings and opens its northern end toward the grassy lawn and the outdoor stage below. As a result, the covered area will be able to accommodate bleachers for spectators during summer concerts.
