A workplace reimagined for a new era of collaboration.
The renovation of the Industrial Alliance Headquarters redefines the workplace by creating a flexible, people-centred environment designed for today's evolving ways of working. Inspired by a "Work from Anywhere" philosophy, the project transforms the office into a destination for collaboration, social interaction, and a renewed sense of belonging.
Located within the company's landmark building on Grande Allée Ouest in Québec City, the project adapts existing spaces to support hybrid work. The redesigned workplace offers a diverse range of environments tailored to different activities, including collaborative zones, quiet focus areas, informal meeting spaces, and settings dedicated to learning and knowledge sharing. This variety of flexible workspaces allows employees to choose the environment best suited to their daily tasks while fostering a more dynamic and connected workplace culture.
The intervention celebrates the architectural qualities of the existing 1951 building while updating its interiors to meet contemporary expectations for comfort, well-being, and employee experience. Abundant natural daylight, views to the outdoors, integrated planting, and living green walls create a warm and inspiring atmosphere throughout the workplace. By combining architecture and interior design, the project renews the identity of the Industrial Alliance Headquarters, transforming it into a vibrant, adaptable, and user-focused work environment.
