The architectural expression of industrial expertise.
The Styro Plyo factory translates the company’s industrial expertise into an architecture that is understated, expressive, and decidedly contemporary. Through a play of clean volumes and a materiality directly inspired by folded sheet metal, the building serves as a showcase for the manufacturing prowess housed within.
The new Styro Plyo factory brings administrative operations, production, packaging, and indoor and outdoor storage under one roof. Designed to support the company’s growth, the building promotes a functional organization of operations while providing bright, efficient workspaces tailored to the teams' needs. The site layout and composition of the volumes clearly distinguish administrative functions from industrial activities, ensuring a simple and coherent reading of the facility.
The architecture draws direct inspiration from Styro Plyo’s identity and core business. The administrative volume, clad in a dark grey finish with multiple folds, evokes the craft of sheet metal work and gives the building a distinctive signature. A red canopy highlights the main entrance, referencing the company’s iconic color, while the large white volume dedicated to production soberly asserts the project’s industrial purpose. Through this approach, the factory becomes more than just a manufacturing site: it serves as a showcase for the company and its expertise.
